    • I had no problem with Lulu producing the book. They did a beautiful job. I had read that their global distribution sucked, so I used Draft2Digital and IngramSpark for global distribution. I had no problem anywhere producing the Ebook. The problems with D2D and Ingram have been with the paperback. And that’s probably user error on my part. D2D let me know where the book was available. Ingram did not. I had to look it up. There might be retailers and libraries that I don’t even know about. Thanks, Phil!

    • I used the Atticus program to design, format, and create the book. The program generated the EPUB file and PDF. Lulu accepted both files and turned them into print-ready files. However, I had to resize the PDF file for one of the others (Ingram?), and the Word docx. file was not formatted for a finished project. I haven’t used the Kindle KDP book creator. although I downloaded the program to my computer. I would read their guidelines. Everybody has their own guidelines to follow. I think you have to have a word docx to convert to EPUB. PDF is for paperback printing. Does that help you? I’m new to this, so I don’t have in-depth knowledge. I just bought Scrivener to (hopefully) create formatted word docx.

    • My book was distributed to Amazon by IngramSpark. At some point, I will use Amazon KDP. I don’t know all the rules. You can be exclusive to Amazon or go wide and use Amazon and other platforms, too. I chose to go wide with this book.
